Music has been in my blood for as long as I can remember. Growing up in New York City during the 80s when Hip Hop became the phenomenon, I was introduced to the sights, sounds and energy of the culture. First trying my hand at rapping at a young age, I wanted more. It was something about the melodies, percussions and drums I couldn't let go. 

Living in Virginia during the early 2000s, the music was nothing less than extraordinary, with one well known producer who made a new sound no one has ever heard before. I had to create my own sound, working with amazing artists who guided me on what was the wave. I transitioned to Hartford, CT after a few years where, although the sound was different, the artistry was just as phenomenal. I linked with several poets, musicians, rappers and singers, with whom I still link with today. They helped me understand that being an artist comes from all different expressions. This is where I set up a small home based studio I called LionsHart. 

After a few years, I became married, had a family and moved to Danbury, CT where I use my LionsDen environment to constantly evolve. Along with my YouTube page Black Math Entertainment, I can also be found on www.soundcloud.com/blackmath the Bandlab app, and a soon be podcast on the Anchor app.
